An article about the high cost of shipping gasoline to Iraq. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/3312015.stm It sounds like Bush is shipping gasoline from U.S. companies to Iraq. I sure hope that they aren't that stupid. It would make more sense to send some money to a country in the Mideast and ship the gasoline from there. A few months ago, the Congress was asking why an ordinary radio shipped from the U.S. to Iraq cost $2500 per radio. The Bush admin defended the price saying it was the high cost of shipping to the other side of the planet. By that logic, radios the U.S. buys at Walmart from China should cost about $2500 a piece.
