![]() So Everyone's always commented on How fast AD's bike is.... he has the 190 kit and a pipe.. none of the malossi variator/clutch extra's.. so why's it got so much more power then ure regular kitted ET4.. Well... he had the prototype Hot Cam we were working on here @ Vespa Soho in there... and we finnally have a final production run of them.... I've got a Stock 150 motor w/ the new Hot Cam and the Ti Pipe... and was able to keep up w/ another guy w/ a Sito Plus Pipe and a 190 kit.. and yes.. he was skinnier then me.... Just thought I'd let everone know... D.R.G. Fist City SC Hello, I am a signature virus. Please add me to the bottom of your sig and help me take over the world! You've got my interest. Tell me more. You should also probably drop a note about this to the folks over at ModernVespa.com, too. Jon Vespa LX150 http://www.scootla.com |

for those who wanted tech specs.. i got more info from the boss... i dont' understand em but i'm sure some of u gear heads do... enjoy.. For those of you requesting tech specs, Intake valve lift is increased from .278" to .290" and exhaust valve lift is increased from .259" to 280". Intake valve duration is increased from 226 to 264 degrees @ .05 of lift while exhaust duration is increased from 222 to 264 degrees. > Basically, this cam optimizes and increases horsepower at the RPM where the transmission shifts for maximum acceleration. It does idle a little 'lumpier' than stock, as is the case with all 'hot' cams. D.R.G. Fist City SC Hello, I am a signature virus. That sounds sweet. What's the bump in speed on a stock engine with only a pipe? |

Who carries the Ti pipe anymore? I haven't been able to find anyone that can get them. |
