"Vespa Seat Question"
| |
I have an old Original Rally frame that looks rusty and still in fair condition, I know if I put a new seat cover, it'll hide it, but I was wondering, what can i do to "reburbish" the frame, Should I even bother? Any advice? Thanks Mike |

Take it to a media blaster, pay the 10 bucks to have it blasted, then pay the 20 or 30 to have it powder coated. Good as new. -Eric 2x '74 Rally 200's, '62 GS160 mk1, '65 SS180, '82 PK125, '71 50 Special, '65 LI 150

we dont suqest powdercoating the whole frame as the springs will stick together and not work I like to unspring them have the frame powdered then paint the springs and re attach them the best way I think-mark know when to stand up, and when to shut up! |

yeah dont powdercoat with the springs on. the heat relaxes the springs then you have to clip them to get them tight again. more pain than it's worth ride it like you stole it www.diablossc.com |
