Jesus fucking christ I was just down at my local (The Gem) and I was drinking with Brian Connely, gituraist for Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet.. well... to be honest replace "Drinking With" with standing close by and just reveling in the fact that I was standing so close and being too much like a school girl to say anything... apparenly he lives around here and drinks there all the time... I'm such a nerd.

I went to see them play in 1989. I was so drunk. I was a lot of fun. I was dancin like a fool and the bass player kept stepping on my foot while I wasn't looking. He never missed a beat. Apparent;y it was funny to him to be messing with this very large out of control college kid. I was very sad when I heard he died

I used to go there when I worked for a Dot-Com in 2000. Hey Mopie, next time you're in there .. scan the table tops, I stuck a "Black Hole TV.com" business card under the glass of one of them. It's probably still there ... along with some former employees I used to work with ... the "Davenport Gang" ... who live at the "Davenport Hole" ... hahaha ... man I miss those guys ... V.G.H |
