And those are the kind of stupid things tort reform needs to deal with.
Once I was on jury duty. The case I was possibly going to be placed on was a waste of the courts time IMHO. I told the lawyers that I felt this country was too litigious, would be biased, and got off the case.
A 80 something year old woman had a heart attack. Since she had been to the doctors the day before the family felt he should have known she was going to have one. She died of other unrelated causes (multiple health issues) withing months of that.
Come on people, she was old, she was sick, she died.
