RE: the real stella

Fact remains she spilled it on herself. The coffee soaked her clothing and sat on her skin longer than necessary, thus increasing the severity of burns.

However, she spilled it on herself. She did it. No one else did it. As I said before, if a server at McDs had spilled it ON her then I'd be a lot more sympathetic. She fucked up. It was her fault.

Same as the skillsaw. It is safe in its environment (as is the coffee in the mug). If I screw up and cut off my finger it is my fault. Not the fault of the saw, or the manufacturer.

or one closer to us - flywheels. Should Piaggio be sued if my finger gets broken because I put it in the flywheel? Obviously so - the scooter shouldn't run with the flywheel cover removed because it creates an unsafe environment. They should know this.

Also old people get burns more readily than young people.

Maybe McDonald's should sell coffee at "old people temperature" and "normal people temperature"?

Face it - facts show that you can burn yourself at 140 degree temperatures.

No customer would ever stand for a 140 degree cup of coffee. Shit, outside temperatures in places gets to 140 degrees.
