I measured on my Jet for you. Measure straight down the fork tube from the bottom of the welded bracket to the flat spot where the link comes out.

I hope this picture will help (NOTE: the 9¼" is to the flat area on the fork not the bottom see pic.)

If you go to the bottom point of the fork it is approx. 10" to the welded bracket.

Remember they go on the outside edge of the fork, so you will only be welding one corner of the mount.
