lammy engine question

Posted by jason from mke-65-29-160-41.wi.rr.com (65.29.160.41) on Sunday, October 14, 2001 at 1:15AM :

i just finished replacing the chaincase, and top and bottom gaskets on my Li150 motor. in the workshop manual it says when all finished, depress the kickstart to make sure everything is working properly.
question is...what the hell should i be looking for? when i did that, it spun the flywheel, with i think usual resistance at first. anybody know what is proper?
