: P engine won't fit underneath the cowls, also doesn't fit with the mount, a better solution for souping up a handlebar bike would be putting a GS150 engine in there. Still takes some rigging but much less then with a P engine. : : : ...and install a PK, GS, or Rally fork on the front end. : : I have a widemount 50,s vespa that i have been considering doing a p200 motor conversion. I also have an extra 160 gs fork would this fit without to much modification.
I have noticed that you have a gs 150 motor or at least have had , and have definately considered that option. I also have a 150 gs front fender but not the fork. I do have a 150 super fork 8" but with the dampener and I have about 5 forks that I could add the dampener bracket too. If I found a rally or sprint linkage. I have considered alot of options Including an original concourse restoration. But I have to say that I have a friend that has a german gs 150 and It handles and runs teriffic and I would be very happy if I could pull off a handle bar custom that performed and handled anywhere close to that. And iF you still have or no where i can acquire a gs 150 motor for a reasonable price now is the time since I may be getting some money from a pal for the p200 I sold him this spring.
